Music Therapy in the community can strengthen social connections and support wellbeing.
Group music-making focuses on the interactive and collaborative aspects of music making which allows for participants to build relationships with each other whilst also working through their own feelings. Singing familiar songs can spark meaningful conversations.
The sessions will be tailored to the needs of the group, using a variety of musical activities to support emotional, social, cognitive and physical needs.
