At the end of October 2025 I delivered the
‘Soundtrack of my life’ legacy project that focused on life review work through playlist creation.
This project guided participants to reflect upon their life through music that sparked memories of people, places and events that had been meaningful to them. Doing this in a group environment encouraged participants to share music with one another and have meaningful decisions about their lives. Creating a 20 song playlist where each song had played a part in their story.
At the beginning of March 2026 I will be delivering a legacy project called ‘Sonnet of my life’ in collaboration with Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth.
Poetry and songwriting are closely related art forms. Sharing elements of rhythm, rhyme and emotion.
At the end of life a poem can be a way for a person to reflect upon life, reminisce about memories or give advice to loved ones.
Putting those words to music can create something special to leave behind. This 7 week project will focus on creating poems and a group song to leave a lasting legacy through words and music.
